Farah Khan and Sajid Khan are not competitors

Farah Khan and Sajid Khan are not competitors

The brother-sister duo of Sajid Khan and Farah Khan is one of the most famous ones in Bollywood! Despite the fact that both of them are film directors, Farah says that there is no competition between them! Read on.

They are both into filmmaking, but there's no room for rivalry between Sajid Khan and his sister Farah Khan.

Instead, choreographer-turned-director Farah, who often directs dance sequences for Sajid, says their work gives them a chance to spend quality time together.

"When I go to choreograph for him, I feel I get to spend some more time with my brother because now I am busy with my children while Sajid has his own life," Farah said here Monday at the launch of TV show "Veera".

"So, at least when we work together, we spend quality time with each other. I don't think there is any competitiveness where Sajid is concerned," Farah said.

Farah has directed films like Om Shanti Om and Main Hoon Na while Sajid is credited for entertainers like Heyy Babyy, Housefull and Housefull 2.

Farah says they share mutual admiration for each other's work, and Sajid even stands up for her whenever someone attacks her films.

"What is nice is that we both are film buffs since childhood. We have grown up watching films.

"So now, when Sajid makes a film, it's important for me as it's my own and vice-versa. I know when my film comes, Sajid gets ready to fight with the people who say even one (negative) word about my movie," said the 47-year-old.

"Now he has a choreographer free of cost for all his films!" Farah said. "On every Rakhi, he takes the dates from me, instead of giving something."

Farah Khan's next directorial venture is expected to be Happy New Year while Sajid Khan has started shooting for Himmatwala remake.
