Allow Bathukamma on Tank Bund: Andhra Pradesh HC
Justice KC Bhanu of the high court on Friday directed the Hyderabad police to allow Batukamma festival celebration on Tank Bund on Oct 23 between 5 pm and 10 pm. The judge further directed the authorities to ensure that the traffic was diverted via the Lower Tank Bund. The judge made the order following a writ petition filed by K Kavita of Telangana Jagriti complaining that the police had refused permission for the event.
